The Day Care Centre is a stand alone facility, situated within the grounds of Dundonald House Nursing and Residential Home. Many other services are provided within existing nursing or residential units; we are pleased to provide a separate facility that is totally committed to meeting the needs of our clients. This tailored care assists clients to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.

We aim to provide a service tailored to meet customer requirements regardless of the level of care and support that is required.

Our vision is to enhance the quality of life of people who have become physically or mentally impaired, who require additional support to remain in their own home through the provision of a holistic, person-centred day care service.

Twelve places are available per day, Monday to Friday, between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.All clients will have access to a responsive, flexible day care service determined by their personal needs.

Full assistance with all aspects of personal care is provided. We also provide a comprehensive range of social and recreational activities; these are designed to be of a therapeutic nature.

Transport to and from the day care facility is provided in a custom-built minibus. The vehicle had disabled access via  a fully automatic rear ramp. All meals, snacks and beveragesare catered for; a daily choice of a three-course hot lunch is provided.
